2nd Trimester!

I can officially say that I am in my second trimester of pregnancy! With this new phase, I feel a huge relief in that the chance of miscarrying is now very low. I am still going back and forth in terms of morning sickness and seem to get it the worse during the evenings. I hesitate to say this, because every time I do, I seem to jinx myself, but I have been feeling rather great as of yesterday. Hopefully this is a sign my morning sickness is legitimately dissipating for good!

I still thought I would have more of a belly since this is my second pregnancy, but still can not really see anything at this point. The only time I notice I have a bulge is when I am doing dishes in the sink and my belly is not flush with the counter top anymore...I definitely feel something in the way and I think I cant see it because I still have some leftover belly jiggle from Gavin...lovely thought I know. My next appointment is next Tuesday and as always, I am looking forward to hearing the heartbeat and getting that reassurance that yes, the baby is still alive and growing!
