Christmas 2009

Glad to report that we had a safe and awesome Christmas! It started with presents for Gavin and Georgia at our house Christmas morning. We had a late start and eventually made our way to grandma and grandpa Ransoms house for round #2. We celebrated with family and left with a lot of new toys and clothes...Gavin and Georgia are very lucky kids! We headed out to my parents later that evening and enjoyed another round of gifts with family. My sister arrived Saturday morning, so it was nice seeing her and letting her meet Georgia...we also headed out to the nursing home to see our grandma who is just about 91 years old...she looked great, but really had no idea who we were...which is always a sad thing to see. She met Georgia for the first time but had no idea that it was her second great grandchild...it broke our hearts to listen to her ramble about something completely different from what we were talking about...its crazy what alzheimers can do to somebody. We came home and enjoyed drinks while playing Wii and having a good time together.

All in all, Christmas was a blast...I always enjoy being around family and love how it makes me feel...we are definitely glad to be home...holidays/traveling with a newborn can be draining and we were glad to have our own space and places to rest Georgia.
