9 Months

Georgia is 9 months old!!  Oh my goodness!  I think I can say that this is the age where things start getting even easier (I know...I must be crazy)...but Georgia is finally at the age where she full heartedly engages in her big brother...they actually play...and the world surrounding Georgia is a happy place...full of  things to explore!    I really dont mind the constant watchful eye that needs to be on her...due to her mobility...so in my eyes...her independence is awesome!

This is also the age where I start incorporating no every so often when she steals things from Gavin or messes with stuff she shouldnt be messing with...it is never too early to start instilling discipline.

Some tidbits as to what she is doing...she will stand on her own for over a minute at a time...she has taken one step on he own...so far.  Walking will be here very, very soon...which I cant believe!  She has four teeth up top and two on the bottom...she still hates her rear-facing car seat...which drives Scott and me nuts...its pretty hit or miss with our drives...in terms of her being happy throughout the whole drive...

We have also decided to stop the bottle...she prefers her sippy cup...so we just said lets just go ahead and quit that and give her formula in her sippy cup with her meals...Her favorite food are the Organic Baby Mum Mums...she could munch on those all day!  In terms of full meals...she gets a full jar in the morning with about 5 ounces of formula...for lunch, a full jar with some Gerber puffs or Mum Mums...with 5 ounces of formula...for dinner, a full jar of food...5 ounces of formula and occasionally some table food mashed up that we are eating...she also gets about 4 ounces around 6:45 and then its off to bed at 7:15 until 8:30 the next morning!  We could not have asked for a better sleeper!!

You can always find her with a toy in each hand...banging them together.  She loves her walker...especially when we take it outside...she raises her hands when you ask her how big she is...she can roar like a lion when her brother does it to her...and so, so much more...I know Iam forgetting a ton, but I am pressed for time because the kids are awake!
